Got on a Flash deal for a great price, but is still a good deal at regular price. Am impressed with the construction - is well built. Comes with everything needed to get racing.

Bought one of these at a great price - car was very quick and fun to drive, so I got a second one - these are great for the price!

I bought this on a whim, I mostly tinker with Quadcopters and scale tanks but decided I'd buy one to run around in my cul de sac. There's not many 1:12 scale cars with 2.4ghz for that price. I didn't expect much for the price but once it arrived in a week and charged up the battery I took it out for a spin and I was very pleased with the performance. It's fast considering it's not brushless and handles quite well. Overall build quality is very good. Radio range is as far as I can see it down the street. I ordered the optional ball bearing upgrade kit which was cheap and worth it. Replacing the bronze bushing was easy and only took a few minutes to swap out. The buggy is even faster with the low friction bearings. I may upgrade the motor to a brushless one later on but for now it's fine. I also noticed that after running the car for 15 minutes or so the battery and motor were not hot, the motor was a little warm as expected and the battery wasn't much warmer than ambient temps. This car is fast, easy to use, decent battery life and goes pretty well on uneven terrain and on grass. On the other hand, in soft terrain keeps spinning around and is difficult to drive it where you want it to go, but it is a lot of fun how it raises dirt up in the air. We ran it for about fifteen minutes of heavy use and drove it on pavement, through grass, on dirt, sand and even made a couple of small jumps.
